Maverick's Health Battle Needs You

Hello! This is Maverick!

Maverick is 8 months old; he was born June 27th, 2024. He hasn’t had the easiest first 8 months of his life. He was born and rushed to Wolfson’s because he was throwing up green bile, as a lot of you know. He had emergency surgery the next morning to get an ileostomy and mucus fistula. Maverick has had 7 surgeries.

Maverick has had 10-12 hospitalization visits.

He had his reversal on Jan 6th, 2025.

Everything was going good until it wasn’t.

Maverick’s butt rash has been horrible. We were getting his supplies through our insurance. Insurance cut that right off at the beginning of the year.

We were handling the 5-6 poopy diapers a day very well.

Maverick got the rhinovirus. Now he is being admitted for possible enterocolitis or an obstruction.

For two days, Maverick has been projectile vomiting, fever coming and going, not able to hold anything down food-wise, mucusy poop, dehydrated, & lethargic.

I ask that you keep him in your prayers because none of this is easy for him.

He is such a strong boy and doesn’t deserve any of this. He definitely keeps us on our toes.
