In Loving Support of Maverick Carpenter & Family

Maverick Carpenter was born on January 18, 2023. He is the fourth child of Ashley and Cody Carpenter and the youngest of his triplet brother and sister.

His birth and life are an absolute miracle. Born with hands that had not fully developed in the womb and diagnosed soon after with Sotos syndrome, not to mention being a triplet, Maverick refuses to let this slow him down. He keeps up with his siblings and learned to sit up and crawl and eat cheerios just like them.

He was admitted to Primary Children’s hospital in Salt Lake City just before his first birthday. He had caught a rare form of bacterial meningitis and pneumonia. The incredible team of doctors have tried to remove the infection through several surgeries and different antibiotics, but unfortunately have been unable to find a cure. We are hoping for a miracle and that Maverick’s body can respond to the antibiotics and his infection numbers can go down.

All who meet Maverick can testify to his loving nature and sweet spirit. Maverick always has a smile for any who show him love. It has been heartbreaking to see him suffer so much. But he is a fighter and won’t give up.
