Maverick & Andy Hudak's Leukemia Assistance Fund
Donation protected
On 11/20/2019 my nephew, 4 year old Maverick Hudak, son of Andrew Hudak, was diagnosed with "B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia" (BALL - WebMD). I am arranging this GoFundMe for Andy & Maverick Hudak.

Maverick's treatment began just 2 days after being diagnosed. The outlook on the treatment is fairly positive, but it is quite a lengthy & involved process. The treatment is is broken up into 4 phases. It is comprised of between 50 - 60 individual treatments over a long period of 2 years. In the 1st phase, Maverick has weekly treatments at a Children's hospital on the north side of Atlanta. The treatments start early and last most of the day, and typically force Maverick & Andy to get a hotel the night before. Andy has been taking Maverick to his treatments but he is missing work (unpaid) each time. The direct cost of the travel expenses, and impacts from Andy missing work, are not sustainable for the duration of this phase of treatment, another 7 months.

Andy & Maverick have received a lot of kind texts, words, wishes, and prayers, for which they are grateful. Many of you have asked Andy and/or myself how you can help; they really do need your help with these additional expenses. Please consider making a donation to Maverick & Andy Hudak's Leukemia Assistance Fund & please continue to encourage and pray for them. Thank you.
