Hi, my name is Marl Coranez, and I’m fundraising for the funeral and memorial expenses of my little brother, Maury.

Maury was born on April 24, 2006, and passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2025. He was only 19 years old.

Writing these words is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. Maury was more than just my brother—he was the light in our home. He had a gentle soul, a kind heart, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew him. He was deeply loved.

Maury had dreams—so many of them. He was intelligent, curious, and full of potential. He carried himself with grace, even when no one was watching. He gave love freely, and all he ever wanted was to make others feel like they mattered.

His passing has left an emptiness in our family that words cannot describe. There is a silence in our home now, a stillness that reminds us every moment that someone so precious is missing. It doesn’t feel real. And yet, here we are—trying to hold each other up while our hearts are breaking.

We are asking for help—not because it’s easy, but because right now, we simply cannot do this alone. The costs of giving Maury a proper farewell are more than we can manage on our own. We want to honor him the way he deserves—with dignity, love, and peace.
