Hi, for you all who don’t know know me I’m Jess ! I’m now nearly at the end of my midwifery degree and can’t wait to start the career I always wanted. This course has been incredible challenging but the most rewarding thing I have ever completed.

If that wasn’t enough I applied and was accepted onto the Turing scheme to complete a placement in Mauritius and was accepted. I will be learning of their culture and maternity systems and of course watching babies be born !

This placement starts in the first week of August so it’s quite a quick turn around. I am receiving £1,041.5 from the grant for this trip. Unfortunately with the cost of living, flight prices and all other expenses it has been calculated to cost approx another £1000. I have the personal funds to contribute £500 towards this but I am looking for some help ! Any donation would help a lot ❤️
