On March 25th, Maurice was involved in a side by side accident. He broke all fingers, besides his thumb and middle finger. He also broke his wrist on his right hand. Maurice was transferred from SLMC to Renown, where they were told the surgery needed to be completed at the Bunke Clinic in San Fransisco. The Bunke Clinic specializes in micro surgery. Maurice was in surgery from 11:45pm to 3:30am. At one point, the Dr's weren't sure they would be able to save Maurice's ring and pinky finger. Through the grace of God, they were able to! Maurice still has a long road ahead of him. Depending on how his skin heals, he could possibly need a skin graph. He will need to go back to San Francisco to get his pins removed and he will have to undergo physical therapy. We want to thank you all for your continuous support and out pour of love!
