Maurice’s Liver Shunt

To know Maurice is to love him. A month ago he started having trouble with bladder stones and went in for a cystotomy to remove them. After further testing, unfortunately he was diagnosed with an extra hepatic liver shunt and signs that the bladder stones are back.

The surgery that he needs is high stakes and incredibly expensive. I naively thought that I could handle this on my own, but after vet visits and testing, bills are starting to really add up.

Maurice has a battle ahead of him but I know that God is watching over both him and the trained specialists who will care for him.
