Maurice Valette and family

This page is in response to all the people who love and care for Maurice and Ferne and the question of "What can we do?"
Maurice is my brother in law and has been apart of our family for as long as I can remember. He is married to my sister Ferne and together they have 4 beautiful kids and 3 amazing granddaughters. Maurice is the owner and building force behind "Valette Construction Ltd." and has worked in the Lloydminster area all of his life. If you are lucky maybe you are the proud owners of a Valette home.
I have started this go fund me page to help alleviate the financial stress and burden that only Cancer can create. Maurice and Ferne are very humble people and so far they have done this journey mostly on their own.
Maurice was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma of the bladder, stage 4, July 9th 2019. *SCBC is extremely rare, hard to diagnose and highly aggressive that accounts for less than 1% of all bladder tumours.* There is no established standard treatment for this rare form of cancer so Maurice and Ferne drove to Arizona where Maurice underwent 3 months of alternative oncolgy treatments.
They returned in October and Maurice recently underwent surgery at St.Paul's hospital, Saskatoon and will begin chemotherapy treatments tomorrow from Cancer Clinic at University hospital in Saskatoon. They will be back and forth from Lloydminster to Saskatoon as they continue this treatment.
Maurice is very weak from the surgery so prayers for strength and healing are very much appreciated.
I know we have all been blessed by Maurice's kindness, hard work, hospitality, and years of construction expertise at sometime in our lives! Let's come together now and support this wonderful brother, uncle, friend, grandpa, husband and father!
