On Sunday morning,  May 9th 2021 ( Mother's Day) Maurice suffered a loss of his apartment belongings.  A raging fire engulfed the apartment units underneath. Thankfully no  lives were lost but a family member (my brother in my apartment) was rush to the hospital for smoke inhalation.  Maurice is currently staying with a family member until he get back on his feet. 

Fires not only tear through homes and your personal  belongings  but victims experience financial  difficulties and emotional  stress . As you can imagine, the feelings are shocking and unimaginable.
