This has taken me all weekend to get the courge to create this GoFund Me page as I am embarressed to be in this position of actually having to ask for the help of my friends and family.
Problem? I have receved my final notice to pay my rent plus & all late fees & laywers fees by Sat. Dec 23rdvat 4pm. If I do not pay by then. I will have to go to court at 8am Dec. 26th and be evicted.
As some of you know, but some of you don't... I have been struggling every month since last December by losing my job. I've been on an off unemployement, have had so many part-time jobs and even cleaned houses and I drive forUber. But falling short every month ,I have had to ask for help from local churches, city programs and some friends and familyfor their help and I am so grateful. I have sold many of personal itemas to pay my car payments first, so I can drive to any job I could get to, in order to survive.
Now the good news!Finally, after 1 year of
being out of full-time work I landed a position at the
Hilton Garden Inn as the new Catering Manager and started this past week. Finally, I can breathe for a stable income.
And Now my major challenge !! I had hoped that I that I would have had a new roommate to move in by Dec. 1st but .....it didnt happen in time .
So the Good News? I now have a committment and deposit from my new roommate and will move in January 8th. But.... unless I can avoid eviction? ... well thats not going to happen. Im done... Im out.
I know it's Christmas time but if you could find it in your heart to help me to stay in my home, I would be grateful........I'm only 1 month behind.
**I vow to all that I Will continue to volunteer to help: Military Assistance Mission and to help another local organization that helps homeless Moms and their kids.
**I vow that I WILL pay it forward in gratitude for those who are able to help me through this very challenging time. 2018 is already set for me to move forward in greatness and to continue to being the best person God has intented me to be. Positive, loving and giving back to others for all that has been given to me.
