Maureen's Road to Recovery

With our sister’s permission (and blessing) this GoFundMe has been created to help Maureen who has had many personal challenges this past year including the most recent diagnosis of Oropharyngeal (Tonsil) Cancer. Maureen recently underwent a 6.5 hour surgery to remove both a 4.5 node on her neck and her tonsil which was the source of the cancer. While it was an extraordinarily long and painful surgery, Maureen’s strength pulled her through. Currently she is recovering at home and the great news is that the cancer did NOT spread. Unfortunately, Maureen will soon begin radiation treatment which will last for two months. This means she will be out of work, yet again. As a single mother and homeowner, this diagnosis is an enormous financial and emotional strain on her family. Anything you can give would be immensely appreciated during Maureen’s road to recovery.
