Maureen's Celebration of Life Costs
Donation protected
My name is Katie Maher, and I am writing this on behalf of my mother-in-law, my husband, and their family. On Monday of this week, heaven opened the pearly gates and the Lord stood waiting to give Maureen Beck-Ferpes eternal life. Maureen was a present and loving mother, a fun and adventurous grandmother and great grandmother, a loyal and gracious friend… and so, so much more. She was genuine, passionate, and brave. The life that she lived spread positivity and compassion through the generations, and for that she will be infinitely missed.
Maureen loved to garden, and she planted more than just flowers. She was a keeper of the hearts of those that she loved. She tended to them when they were wilting and cared for them until they stood tall and strong again. She talked to them and reminded them of their beauty and importance in her life. She shared her admiration of them with everyone she met, gushing about the small things that so many others might miss. Her garden was more beautiful than words in any language can describe and will continue to flourish in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
During this time of unexpected loss, the family has decided that a funeral service is not fitting for Maureen. Instead, we will be coming together to celebrate the life of one of God’s favorites with fellowship and happy memories of the joy she brought us all. The date of which will be determined at a later time.
Please join me in helping Maureen’s loved ones focus on grieving, and not on the financial obligations that unfortunately come with loss. Because this was so sudden, the family is unprepared and has been unable to find any life insurance policies to help with costs. Any donation is a tremendous help and will go directly towards helping the family pay for cremation, celebration of life, and any memorial they may choose.
