Maura's Journey

Hi all! I am setting this up for our dear friend Maura. As many have heard, this feisty little Irish lady is now in the fight of her life. After getting hurt at work and losing her job Maura learned that she has cancer. She has been undergoing treatment and is tolerating it pretty well. Unfortunately, we all have learned either personally or through loved ones, that cancer is expensive to treat even with insurance. Then add those costs to just everyday living expenses like rent, utilities etc and it can be financially devastating. I am setting this up to give all of us that want to do something and help, can. This is a way to help remove some of the stress that money puts on each of us for our dear friend. We want Maura to be able to relax and heal. Two of Maura's greatest concerns right now are missing everyone and worrying about things like rent, co-pays etc. We are having a chance for a social environment and spending time with friends on July 30th @ 3:00 @the Village Inn on Walsingham with food, beverages etc provided by the restaurant. We hope you can join us. I've set this up to help with the money worries as much as possible. If you could donate something "that would be grand" (as Maura says :)
