Many of you have been following and supporting Maura over the past 7 years in her fight against metastatic colon cancer. After what appeared to be a miraculous recovery from stage 4 colon cancer, another foe reared its ugly head about 2 months ago... bilateral breast cancer. Fortunately, the cancers are unrelated and this one appears to have been caught early. Unfortunately, Maura must undergo another daunting surgery (double mastectomy) which will put her out of commission for a few months.

I know this is a rough time of year (and a tough year overall) to be asking for support. Just know that a donation of any size will be greatly appreciated and will help Maura cover her medical expenses through the next few months as she focuses on her recovery.
