On Sunday June 5th Maura (Cory’s fiancée)and sister Dawn Mooney were struck by a car on Francis Wyman road. As of Sunday June 6th Maura is in the ICU with a traumatic brain injury, a broken wrist, a broken lumbar, and was intubated. Dawn has a broken pelvis, broken ribs, the same lumbar fracture as Maura and a severe concussion but no brain damage.

 

For those of you lucky enough to know them both, and know the family -- this one feels like a stomach punch. While we’re optomistic for a full recovery, it won’t be overnight. The goal here is to help raise money to ease the financial burden for both of them.
