Maura and Dawn’s recovery costs

On Sunday June 5th Maura (Cory’s fiancée)and sister Dawn Mooney were struck by a car on Francis Wyman road. As of Sunday June 6th Maura is in the ICU with a traumatic brain injury, a broken wrist, a broken lumbar, and was intubated. Dawn has a broken pelvis, broken ribs, the same lumbar fracture as Maura and a severe concussion but no brain damage.

 

For those of you lucky enough to know them both, and know the family -- this one feels like a stomach punch. While we’re optomistic for a full recovery, it won’t be overnight. The goal here is to help raise money to ease the financial burden for both of them.

 

The Mooney family helped raise half the town of Burlington, either on baseball fields or in the summer at their house, please donate as much as your means allow. I’ll do my best to keep everyone posted as the updates come in. Thank you!
