Mauney Family Emergency Support

Hi, my name is Heather Mauney-Ward. This is extremely hard but my Father, Mother, & Sister are in need of financial support in this new year. As most of you know, we have been advocating and fighting for Daddy going on our 6th year. He has battled many illnesses and spent most of the last 5 years in and out of Hospitals & Rehab facilities. Along with his decline in health our mother has also declined. Last Friday, Jan 10th mother fell and broke her shoulder/arm and her hip. She is currently in Kingwood Hospital, post hip surgery, and will be moving to a long term rehab facility in the next few days. While the medical expenses are covered through insurance, the cost of caring for the house, animals, and upkeep is more than my sister and I can take care of on our own at this time. 

My sister, Kim, has been the caretaker of Mother & Daddy for several years now. She has a great job, amazing co-workers, and benefits that she cannot lose, as she also has a heart condition that she has to stay healthy with. She has to now take FMLA due to being out of PTO and Vacation time, due to the amount of time she has had to spend taking care of our parents.
