My good friend Mauna who I worked with at American Airlines has asked me to assist her with a challenging situation. Her son has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which came as a complete shock. He will be undergoing surgery in Columbus, a two-hour drive from his home, and will be hospitalized for at least two weeks before beginning treatment. His wife will incur expenses related to travel and accommodations, and he will need to take an extended leave of absence from work to recover.

While he is recovering, he will have to go into a nursing facility after surgery for an extended time.

Given the significant expenses they will face, any monetary contribution would be greatly appreciated during this difficult time for their family.
