Hi friends and family, Michaela here

For starters, I just want to say this is out of my comfort zone, however, I learned as well that sometimes it’s ok to ask for help.

Most of who I reach out to may know I live on Maui. And if you haven’t heard already, this is a very difficult time for the local community and those who are currently living here like myself. Due to hurricane Dora, strong winds have managed to create such destruction to wear many towns, homes, and even peoples lives have been lost... being such a close community, when one is affected, we all are affected.. I lost my job, my government support and am treading to put food on my plate each day, while coming up with healthy alternatives and ways to feed my fur best friend Ollie, keep him healthy and for the first time ( big girl me) having to pay rent and keep a roof over our heads... I know time is what it will take, and I’m working very hard every day to make a change in my life and those around me… but in the mean time.. how’s the clock text waiting for everything to connect… if anyone can donate some spare change.. anything is very much appreciated and well needed.
