Pictures we took while feeding on the perimeter of the burn zone. It was very sad and reminded me of looking at a black and white picture full of grief, despair, and tragedy. I also noted patches of color in the black and white picture that reminded me of hope, recovery and ohana.

As a result of the horrific fires in Maui, our current goals are to collaborate with other local nonprofits to raise funds for:
- Vet Services and Medication for animals injured in the fire
- Traps for Search and Rescue efforts
- Assistance to Reunite Pets with their Owners
- Provide Pet Food and Supplies to People who are Fostering Displaced Pets or Setting up Feeding and Water Stations in the Affected Areas
- Provide Pet Carriers for Lost, Injured, and Misplaced Pets or for Transportation off the Island.

Kittens from Lahaina that we are fostering for Kitty Charm Farm. One of them had to have emergency surgery to remove her eye (top pic). They are recovering nicely and very sweet.
