We need your help!

This message is from Karin, Ryan, Kyle and Robyn.

Last week, my family was blessed to travel to the incredible island of Maui. On the second day of our stay, we met the most amazing woman who within hours became our most dear friend. Over a week, that friendship grew to become an “extended family”...Ohana in Hawaiian.

Katiouschka “Kat”, is a Maui local who runs a tour company that takes tourists to one the most beautiful excursions in Maui “Road to Hana”. Not only does Kat beautifully, teach you about the history of the island and take you to the most breathtaking locations, her storytelling and teachings absolutely captivate you. It was a magical day for all of us.

We continued to meet up with Kat throughout our stay as though we had all known each other for years. She shared the local culture (that we would have not experienced without her), met her friends, and visited local “hangouts” that most tourists do not get to see. The bond that was created, for all of us, was priceless and completely changed what was to be a lovely vacation into an incredible experience that we will hold dear to our hearts forever. On our final day in Maui, we met with Kat to say our goodbyes...promising we would see each other again soon. Tears were exchanged and off we went back to the “mainland”.

Within the next 24 hours, as we were thankful to have returned home safe and sound, Kats' world was falling apart. She woke in the middle of the night, to her town of Lahaina burning to the ground and had to quickly gather her two teenage boys and run for their lives. Leaving their belongings, car and home behind. They lost everything. No personal belongings, no home and no car. And, now, no business. Any friends or family she would be able to stay with have also lost their homes. She is in dire need.

Upon learning of the devastation, we immediately knew we had to get involved to help Kat and her boys. SO, here we are asking all of you for your help! Whether $1, $5 or more...anything will help and it all adds up! Our hearts are breaking for all affected and we pray, with your help, we can aid in the rebuilding of one family that captivated our hearts. Thank you!

Also, should anyone wish to donate clothes...I am working with Kat on setting up a PO Box to send clothes/shoes and other necessities to her and her boys. You can reach out to Ryan, Kyle, Robyn or me if you prefer to help out this way!

All funds will go directly to Kat and her two boys.
