A MESSAGE/UPDATE FROM HANNAH: Wow my heart is truly overflowing with love I can’t thank everyone enough for the support I’m receiving from each and every one of you. This has been a very sad month for me but seeing so many familiar names on here lifts my spirits and makes me hopeful for the future. I wish I could hug all of you!!! I’ve been back on Maui for a few weeks now recouping, replacing important documents and spending quality time with my friends and community on the West Side. If anyone has any questions about what’s truly going on here please reach out. There’s been a lot of misinformation getting spread around and I’m happy to clear the air. The Lahaina community is strong and I have faith they will rebuild, the right way. If you’re looking for another way to support my community, my advice to you is to BOOK A TRIP TO MAUI! The west side is closed but Kihei, Wailea and Paia are so so beautiful. Our economy heavily relies on tourism and if I want to rebuild my business/life out here, we need people to come here and support small businesses like my own.
Aloha Everyone ,
As you may have seen, there’s been a tragic wildfire on Maui, that hit Lahaina where my sister Hannah lives. She has lost her home, all of her belongings, her car and her photography/marketing business. A devastating amount of personal and sentimental items. Hannah did not have renters insurance so has limited resources to get back on her feet except for the communities and families she has been a part of.
Nothing can replace these things or this moment, but help from the community can help her rebuild. She will need a place to live and start to reacquire necessities and belongings that took years of hard work to create.
Thankfully, she is safe right now but her life has been greatly impacted by this disaster. She needs help to re-establish a normal life. Hannah is a helper of people and has the biggest heart, as hard as it is to ask, she could use some help right now.
Thank you to anyone who can contribute, any amount is greatly appreciated. All funds raised from this campaign will go directly to Hannah and her closest circle who also lost everything and desperately need any help they can get.
