Welp, this is unexpected! With my lifestyle I'll bet you were expecting something about a motorcycle accident or funding for my life in Baja. No such luck.
Here is the skinny because i know you'll have questions.
On April 23rd I was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance because I had a seizure. After several MRIs and CT scans on April 28th they did a biopsy. A tumor panel at the Barrow Neurolcical Institute (what i have heard is the best place for this and its right down the street from my house, SCORE) reviewed everything and they found out i have a grade 2 (low grade) glioma astrocytoma.
Whew, that's a mouthful! but, what does it mean? It means I have a malignant tumor in my brain.
It is inoperable because it is too interwoven into my brain, but we have a plan.
I'm going to start chemotherapy (oral temazolamide) and radiation on May 15. This will shink and hopefully kill the tumor. I will be recieving treatment every weekday for 6 weeks.
As you all know, I have not lived a conventional life. I have foregone security in search of adventure, and lived as I saw fit with a smile on my face and nothing but love in my heart. But, when the shit hits the fan a heart full of love only gets you so much. I have been approved for public healthcare (should cover my treatment) but i can not work. My mental capacity is limited and my vision doesn't track (I get lost when I turn my head) which is huge when you work in the motorcycle field. I am hoping to get back to work and my lifestyle soon, but I need to fight this.
This is for bills, mortgage, groceries, etc.
Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
