Hi all, my name is Beck i have made this go fund me after the sudden tragic death of my brother!

Sadly, on the 8th January 2025 we tragically lost our Matt. The happiest and funniest man who is loved so much by all, he had the biggest talent for his whole life his love of singing and playing the guitar/banjo he had the biggest talent and won many competitions. He was the life and soul of the party.

In April 2024 matt was rushed to A & E having a cardiac arrest suddenly, he spent 6 week on life support and had multi organ failure being told he wasn't going to make it and they gave him no chance, saying even if he did survive he could be brain damaged and loose all mobility too. Defying all odds he got stronger and come through the other end no brain damage, after lots of physio he became able to stand, walk very short distances but that was huge for him and all of us and he was so proud as was we all. His sense of humour was still there and shined brighter than ever and he looked at the funny side of everything. Despite this happiness he had no kidney function and a very weak heart and contiued on dialysis for many months. After improvment he was able to beat the machines and we thought he was truly on that road to recovery but with only 35-40% heart function he really struggled in the battle and on the

31st December 2024 our lives changed forever.

He was rushed back into A & E with low heart rate after 9 days of fighting with raging infection, and cardiac problems and pneumonia suddenly we were called to the hospital on 8th Janurary 2025. We Lost Matt! our whole world destroyed, the tragic loss of am amazing brother and son and grandson and friend at only 37 years old.

cause of death being hypertrophic cardiomyopathy a disease affecting 1 in 250 people which sometimes goes without warning with no symptoms.
