Hi my name is Ahmed I knew Matty for over 30 years, On Monday the 2nd of March Matty had A tragic accident at work, He fought for five day's and passed away of his Injuries on Friday 6th march he was a lager then life character only 46 years old that loved his Rugby,Football and Boxing he supported Arsenal and loved Hull KR following them around the country, We are wanting to raise Money to help his Mum Linda, Family and Children to give Matty the best send off they can give him at this extremely difficult time, Linda is A pensioner and as everybody knows times are hard on the money front for a lot of people theses days and there is no plan because most are not thinking there,s going to be a tragic accident, So any thing or a share will really help.

All funds raised will go to Linda and his Sister Michelle to help pay for funeral costs and sending Matty off.

Any amount is so appreciated so lets help raise enough money to give Matty a big send off to match his big personality.

Matty Christon's funeral will be on the 10th April 2026 at Eastern Cemetery 12pm Linda and the family have asked for Rugby shirts if possible matty loved the banter between Hull and Rovers so that would be great but also Matty loved a suit jacket and to get suited and booted so if anyone wants to get suited and booted no black plz. Also as your aware Matty loved his rovers so a funeral procession will walk from Hull KR ground in the car park to Eastern cemetery, So anybody wanting to take part if you go to the ground around 11.30am Thanks.
