Matt's Transplant & Recovery Fund

Matt Magallanes has been a fighter since he was a kid. A Golden Gloves boxer from Cornell Park, in the Back of the Yards neighborhood of Chicago. Now, Matt is in the toughest fight of his life. He is in need of a kidney transplant and currently on dialysis three days per week. He has been added to the transplant list, so it’s a waiting game.

Life has completely changed for him and his family, wife Jennifer (Nieto), daughters, Alyssa , Maddie 9 and Julianna 8, and also his step daughter Mia. Matt is no longer able to work to provide for the family. His wife Jennifer is working hard every day. She works a full time job, takes care of the girls and all of their needs, as well as Matt’s daily changing needs. This has been such a hardship on the entire family. As Jennifer's sister, I knew I had to do something to help.

They need all of our help. No amount is too small. Please find it in your heart to help the Magallanes family as they face this long tough road ahead.. Also pray that Matt gets a new kidney soon, so he can put this behind him, get healthy, and back to providing for his girls.
