I need $3,000 to pay my tuition bill so I can graduate on May 17, 2020. I’ve tried every angle and I’m $3,000 short of the finish line.
Five years. I have been in seminary on my path to UU ministry for five amazing, arduous, audacious, academic, aspirational years. I’ve paid out thousands and had scholarships and still ended up with $72k in Student Loan debt. I have served three congregations, a community non-profit, and the proud veterans at the Seattle VA Hospital in my formation. Invited into Ministerial Fellowship by the Unitarian Universalist Association pending graduation from Seminary. Final class taken, final paper submitted. A life completely changed. Ready to take a breath, and then take the next step, except…
Final tuition bill due. Meadville Lombard Theological School. $2940. Graduation not official until balance paid in full. Preliminary Fellowship will not be granted without graduation and I can’t apply to ministry jobs without Fellowship. I’m so close, but $3,000 SHORT.
I don’t think I will have access to that amount of money for a very long time. A kind but persistent friend said they wouldn't stop pestering me until I ask my circle for some help.
Anything you can share would be wildly appreciated and will be paid forward in every way that I can.
I humbly ask for your help. I want to graduate and minister to humans in need of my ministry. This is a life saving faith. I promise to share your generosity through my heart.
