Matt’s road to cancer free!

its still so hard to believe everything Matt has gone through the past 6 months. It all started with countless trips to the ER. When he was finally diagnosed with testicular cancer, it was another few months before the insurance company approved his surgery. By the time it was approved the cancer spread to the lymph nodes. The reality is that he can use a little help while he’s on the road to recovery. When you hear of a cancer diagnosis, you don’t realize that there is so much that has nothing to do with insurance. (Fertility preservation, non covered meds, etc.) Matt still has a family to support while he is fighting for his life. Going through chemotherapy and all the side effects that come with it is already unbearable. To have to raise and support a family on top of that? All I can say is that Matt is a warrior.  He has even tried working after his treatments but it’s getting harder and he is no longer able to do that.Matt has always been our hero, but it’s time for us to step up for him. If you can find within your heart, anything you can afford will definitely help. Let’s try and make things a little easier for them.
