Help me make a difference in 2021 with our wounded warriors! Why? Every wounded warrior deserves a positive future to look forward to. According to the 2020 Wounded Warrior Project Annual Warrior Survey, unemployment among warriors who served our country has risen to 16% in 2020 up from 11.5% in 2019.
It's our turn to lift up and support these brave folks who have sacrificed for us. I'm raising money to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, and any donation will help make an impact. To help raise awareness I will be doing one "Murph Workout" a week for 52 weeks in 2021. In a nod to the workout's military roots—it's named for Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL killed in action in 2005—CrossFit boxes around the U.S. host a Murph every Memorial Day. The workout consists of:
1-mile run followed by:
100 pullups
200 pushups
300 air squats
followed by another 1-mile run
*While wearing a 20 pound weighted vest throughout entire workout.
The mission of Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors by raising awareness, helping injured service members aid and assist each other and providing programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
