Matt's heart needs a tune up

I hate asking for help, but on Wednesday, July 27th, I suffered a massive heart attack. My mom (thank God she held it together and got me to the hospital in time or I would not be here) saved my life. From Anna Jacques Hospital, it was decided I needed to be rushed to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. It was there I was rushed right into the operating room where, 2 1/2 hours later and 2 stents heavier, the team of amazing doctors saved my life. The type of heart attack I had (the left lower apex) has an incredible 83% mortality rate. This all at 45 years old. To say the least, I am so lucky to be alive.

With all of this comes the negative impacts. The doctors believe I'm not going to be able to work again since the heart attack was so severe it permanently damaged my heart. As you can imagine, I am beyond overwhelmed and stressed. Those two things are why I had a heart attack in the first place. I can't put the added weight of running a GoFundMe on my family as they are no spring chickens either and not great with technology. I'm sure as most of you know me, I would never be asking for help if there were no other options. If any of you can help in any way, myself and my family will be beyond forever grateful
