Matt's Fight to his Feet

On Saturday November 19, 2016 Matt had an unfortunate accident that has left him unable to walk. Matt was working on a new barn for the Ruhlman Brewery, about 16 feet at the top of the trusses, when the cold front blew in and the wind gusts took down most of the structure. Matt jumped to safety from the falling lumber and landed on his feet on a concrete slab, shattering both ankles. Matt has under gone his first operation at Siani Hospital and will be going home tomorrow to wait for the swelling to subside. He will go to University of Maryland, Shock Trauma to see an ankle specialist to help reconstruct his left ankle. The recovery is estimated to take around 4 months and he will be non-weightbearing and wheelchair bound for a while.
As we know the holidays are coming and Shelley, Matt, Landon, and Brin will be dealing with a lot of changes. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated as medical bills, travel, making the house wheelchair ready and unplanned time off work will be imminent.
