Hello. My name is Matt Pike.

On August 25th I will be setting off unsupported on the Colorado Trail, a 530-mile trail across the state. This is something I have wanted to do for years and now is the time.

In May, my mother, Pamela Pike, passed away after a years-long battle with ovarian cancer. She was my biggest supporter in all things. She loved following my racing and my training. She celebrated my achievements and was the first one to help me 'get back on the horse' if I failed. I will take the strength she gave me and the strength she showed and use it as my driving force on this journey.

All the money that I raise will be donated to Tina's Wish. Tina's Wish is an ovarian cancer non-profit organization dedicated to funding research for the prevention and early detection of ovarian cancer.
