Matt's Broken Jaw Recovery Fund

Hello, My name is Matthew Dilley. On Thursday, July 14th, I was driving on i285 when a solid steel Rod weighing roughly 5-7 pounds pierced my windshield and struck my face. Leaving me with a fractured Jaw. I was taken to a hospital that was not covered by insurance and was not transferred to one before they did surgery on my jaw. My car needs repair from hood damage and a new windshield, which SHOULD only be $500 after my deductible. However, the Orthodontist is not within my insurance coverage and is asking for $2643, which he must have BEFORE they remove the metal in my mouth, in full, without a payment plan. I have reached out to my auto insurance to see what medical they will cover. The Go Fund Me amount is just a random number that should cover all hospital bills, car repairs, orthodontists, bills, food, and anything else that I should need while missing work. I have never asked for anything like this in my life, and it deeply wounds my pride to do so. But if you can please help in any capacity, it will be deeply appreciated. I proposed to my girlfriend in February 2021, and then in May of 2021 my mother died. I don't have parents to fall back on; it's just me. I just want to marry the girl of my dreams, and life keeps beating me down. Please help in any way you can.
