“Brick after brick” ...
.... and we will build four class rooms for the children of “Makeni Villa compound”, in Lusaka, Zambia
We are the Comboni Missionary Sisters, living in Kanyama-Makeni (a poor compound in Lusaka, Zambia) in charge of the St. Daniel Comboni Social Development Center, with about 200 children and teen-agers.
Started in 2016 as a Center to keep the kids away from the street, nowadays it is focused on education to help them to have a better life: we really believe that “Education is the way out of poverty”. The majority of our children have never been to school.... few of them have been for a couple of months, maybe one year… and then they had to stop because of family problems bigger than what they themselves could handle.
In this situation, we are facing a challenge: the classrooms we have are few and small. We would like to build other four classrooms (6mx 10m each), large enough to welcome more students. We would like that they could have the possibility to study, even if they cannot afford it because born in a very poor environment. We would like to welcome those who come to us with a heart full of hope, asking to learn how to read and write.
For the 4 classroom-construction we need 65.000 US$... and we do not have such an amount. WILL YOU PLEASE GIVE US A HAND?
Brick after brick, together, we will succeed. Thanks.
With hope and gratitude
Many drops together form an ocean!

A short video will breathily show our some of our activities.
