MattO's Family Support Fund

On Sunday, September 8th, Matt O'Brien was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident near Crater Lake, OR. MattO had left a moto event earlier that day for some solo ride + camp time and we learned of his passing early Monday.
For those who did not know MattO, he was an incredibly generous human, an accomplished photographer, and an unbelievable single father to his two young children, Rita + Padraic. Those of us in the moto community knew him best through his participation at summer runs + various motorcycle events. And while recent life had not allowed him to attend every event or every get-together, when he did, his beautiful energy was truly tangible.
During this impossibly difficult time for his family, we are looking to garner the support of the Moto Community, and all those in his extensive circle of friends, to provide significant financial support to his loved ones + children. A family member has set up a Zelle account for the children, which will allow us to directly deposit GoFundMe contributions to his family. We hope that this GoFundMe platform will allow those who wish to spread the word + share an easy way to do so.
A Celebration of Life for MattO will be held Saturday, September 14th from 2pm-6pm at his home. For more information, please contact us directly.
