Matt O'Dell Family

Matt O'Dell is a young pipeliner with Enbridge Energy.  He and his wife, Jamie, have two children, Claire, 7 years old  and  Matthew, 4 .  Matt is with the Marshall, Michigan pipeline maintenance crew.  He has been with Enbridge for 5 1/2 years.  

Matt is a Marine Corp veteran, having served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Matt was diagnosed 5 years ago with a brain tumor.  Last year he was diagnosed with kidney cancer.  Unfortunately, the cancer has continued to progress. His father and brother also were diagnosed and died from the same dreadful disease.    His young son,  Matthew , has been tested and carries the cancer genetic markers.

Matt is now home from the hospital under hospice care.
