Matthgew Turner's Surgery Fund

As many of you know, I was hit by a car while walking on the sidewalk on my way to work earlier this month. Sadly, the driver had the bare minimum insurance. It has been a very rough month physically, emotionally and financially. I found out today that I will require shoulder surgery that will have a 3 to 4 month recovery period of intense physical therapy to regain full functionality of my arm.  Looks like my dreams of pitching in the majors at 45 is over.

The out of pocket costs have eaten up my meagre savings and I will need help with medical bills, rent, cat food and Matt food over the coming months. I live a pretty quiet, fairly solitary meditative existence and see all of you less than I would like to, but if I have ever posted anything on social media that has helped you, cheered you up or made you laugh, please consider helping a brother out by donating and/or sharing this with your networks.
