With a heavy heart we are saddened to share that on June 20th 2021 (Father's Day), Matthew Steed lost his life due to a sudden and fatal heart attack.
During the past 24 hours, I have witnessed an outpouring of love from so many friends and acquaintances on Facebook sharing how much Matt has meant to them. I am moved by seeing how many people Matt’s life has touched. I am not surprised, however. Everyone loved Matt! He was fun, easy to love, selfless, and made everyone feel welcome; he was a ray of sunshine and laughter!
This GoFundMe page is in honor and memory of Matt. Most people don’t make end of life preparations until old age. However, Matt was only 49 when he passed. None of us were prepared for this, neither emotionally, nor financially; that is why our family is seeking your support. Any remaining funds will be left for his mother, to help her through the coming days. Please consider paying it forward so that we can offer Matt a proper burial and memorial. Anything helps.
