Matthew’s Wish to Walk
Donation protected
Let me introduce you to our very own little superhero Matthew.
Matthew was born 10 weeks early on the 8th of May 2014 which lead to a diagnosis of Periventricular Leukomalacia (PVL) and Cerebral Palsy. As a result of this Matthew is unable to walk.
In June 2018, Matthew underwent life changing Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) Surgery in Alderhey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool.
For the last year Matthew has been following an intensive physiotherapy regime 3-4 times a week, as well as trying to settle in to Primary 1.
Despite this, Matthew is never seen without a smile on his face. He is the most lovable, happy and determined boy we know.
We as a family are so proud of everything he has achieved so far and we will our best to make his wish to walk a reality.
We would like to invite you on the journey with us, as we need your help to make Matthew’s wish come true.
