Family Members and Loved Ones,
This June, from the 10th through the 19th, I will be traveling to Haiti with a non-profit, faith based organization called Stone by Stone through my church at King of Kings in Liverpool, NY. This organization’s mission is to support quality and sustainable healthcare and education to a cluster of villages in a mountain region about 40 miles northwest of Port au Prince, the capital of Haiti.
With this letter I am asking for a donation for this trip to show your support. The cost of this trip is roughly $1400. This includes all in-country expenses and project costs (medical supplies, building supplies, etc). This is a lot of money, but I feel the importance of the service is worth the cost. Your contribution is tax deductible and 100% of it will go directly to off-setting the trip expenses.
Stone by Stone is an accredited 501c3 organization and 100% of the money you raise goes directly to Haiti through this trip.
We will be teaching English classes, repairing homes damaged by hurricane Matthew, holding mobile health clinics, and painting some classrooms. Stone by Stone helps support a clinic and a primary school in the village of Desab, which is the central village of the area where we will be staying.
