Matthew's Fight with Lymphoma

March 2024, Matthew was hospitalized for pains in his chest and having a hard time breathing. While in the hospital, he went thru a series of test to determine what was going on.

Matthew is a 28-year-old, who has never been hospitalized for anything.

After some imaging and lab work, they did a biopsy and it was determined that it was malignant and he had Lymphoma in his chest cavity (very close to his heart).

After going thru more in-depth testing, medical staff determined it was stage 2 cancer and at this time contained to his chest area.

We hear about cancer effecting other families, but never expected it to hit so close to home for us. Matthew is a fighter and we’re determined to stand by him throughout this battle with cancer.

We’re asking for help to pay for medical expenses and to be able to relive one stressful factor from him. We understand how this can affect his financial status and he is worried about falling behind on is financial responsibilities. We want to ensure that his only worry is to take care of his health and fight as hard as he can.
