In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please donate to provide the support needed for Matthew Fast’s wife, Jessica Fast. The funds will cover burial and funeral expenses, family travel expenses and other costs incurred.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 at the International Community Church, 123 Byte Drive, Frederick with Pastor David Oravec and Pastor Doug Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Matthew Fast graduated from Flager College and was a decorated military veteran who served two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and was a member of the Frederick Police Department. He was what you envision as your hometown American hero in red, white & blue.
Matthew resided in Baltimore, MD with his wife Jessica Fast and their two dogs Wrigley and Bear. A lover of craft beer, crabs, and all things American.
Matt please rest easy knowing that we will surround Jessica, who you always called "my beautiful wife," with your love and all the memories we have with you.
While we all know the world is a lesser place without Matthew, his smile will forever live on in our hearts.
Matt leaves behind his wife Jessica and her parents Kim and Pat, his mother Sheryl, father Tim, brother Randy and his dogs Wrigley and Bear.
