Matthew's Wish

Tax deductible
Matthew's Wish was established in 2015, after the most courageous bravest, and funniest little boy you'd ever meet, Matthew. Matthew had turned 10 on April 6, 2015, which was a very big deal, as Matthew  couldn't wait to be double digits!!  Matthew loved making people laugh, and O how he did! Between he contagious smile and love for an old fashion magic trick, he'd leave you forgetting all about your worries and problems!  He also loved legos, which he spent hours building! His dream was to be a famous singer, but no worries if that didn't work out, as he had a back up plan. His back up plan was to become a medical duo with his older sister. Matthew planned to be a medical researcher to find a cure for the very disease that was robbing him of not only his youth, but his life. Unfortunately the day never would come for Matthew to pursue his dream, as  medical research just wasn't there yet, ultimately ending Matthew's life on April 20, 2015.  A few months before Matthew's passing he shared with his mother his fear of dying. Even crying and telling her that he was afraid of dying and wasn't ready to go yet. His mother assuring him that she'd never let that happen.  As time passed Matthew could see his health was declining, though the ones closes to him were totally oblivious to this! Or, perhaps they just didn't wanna see it. Regardless, Matthew knew, he knew he didn't have much more time left with his family.  Knowing this he asked his mom to make him a promise, "promise me mommy, that even if a cure doesn't come in time for me that you'll never stop fighting for a cure". His mother looked at her gorgeous little boy with those big brown eyes filled with tears and said, "I promise you Matthew, I promise". Matthew took his last breaths just weeks later.

Matthew's Wish raises money for research, treatment, and eventually one day soon, a cure! Mathew's Wish also donates toys to different children's hospitals as well as individual families with medically ill children and teens. Matthew's Wish helps families with financial difficulties too.

Our mission: We won't stop until his wish comes true, a wish for a cure!

Matthew's Wish helps children, teens, adults, as well as families with all and any medical diagnosis.

Matthew suffered from HLH (Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis) and Mito (Mitochondrial Disease). Matthew passed away from CNS HLH, leading to a catastrophic brain bleed at the brain stem, despite all the doctors best efforts, chemotherapy, and treatments.

Please consider making a donation to our non-profit foundation to help make Matthew's dying wish become reality, a wish for a cure!

Together we WILL find a CURE!
