On February 24th, Matt was seriously injured in an accident that cause 2nd and 3rd degree burns on a majority of his body. He has been, and will remain in the Red Duke burn unit at Memorial Herman hospital for the foreseeable future.
He will require skin grafts on a great amount of his body and time for his body and mind to heal after such a devastating injury.
Although he does have coverage for his medical expenses, I am setting up the GoFundMe to solicit donations to help cover the expenses that he will not be able to worry about while he is trying to heal; such things as mortgage, car payments, etc... for the next three months. Some of this will help his parents, Gene and Shell make the daily trip to see him during visiting hours at the hospital.
We appreciate any and all that each of you is able to give to help bridge the gap that we financially cannot.
