Matthew Sharrow

My name is Jannifer, I’m Matthew’s - or Mattie’s - aunt. Matthew passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 5th, 2023 at the age of 33.

Mattie made friends everywhere he went. He loved every person he met, and they loved him. He was outgoing, flamboyant, energetic, fun-loving, and free-spirited. To know Mattie was to love Mattie.

Matthew’s family would love nothing more than to have him back here with us, close to us. Mattie was living in Florida at the time of his passing and his family is trying to get him back to Michigan for burial. But given the suddenness of his passing, we’re asking for financial assistance from friends and family.

His family plans to have a memorial service for him at a future date as well.
