Funeral-memorial service for Matthew Ryan Roesler
Donation protected
I am the sister of Matthew and he passed away October 6, 2022. There are no words. No matter how much you prepared for the day you would hear the dreaded news.
I lost my brother, my mother loss her son, my kids loss their uncle. Now my mother is left with the expense of burying her son. It’s never something anyone is prepared to do. Like most other parents she didn’t have an insurance policy out on him and was not ready to have to make this happen so sudden. No mother should have to bury their child.
However it wasn’t on that very day the news came of my brothers death that we lost him it was the day the drugs first took over. my mom for years as a single mother has raised myself and my brother, paying endlessly for his treatment services for the past 19 years to keep him alive.
She made a stance to stop helping him with rounds and rounds of treatment and take the help from the state. She then in returns has help and has assisted me to send her grandson off to college when he was accepted into SUNY Maritime in NY for the next 4 years. This depleted my moms savings and of course mine as I make to much but not enough to send my son off to college without taking out dreadful student loans.
this has left me to turn to those who could assist with helping my mom who has devoted her life raising myself, my brother and in part her grandson as well with the expense of the funeral cost.
There is nothing more in this world I would like to do then allow my brother a proper service as my mother has not seen her son in 2 years. She deserves closure of the toughest time of her life as she lays her son to rest for the final time.
Now moving forward our family can heal the mourning we have been mourning for years as we prayed for Matthew to be matthew again for old time sakes. The devil would give us periods over these years of the old sober Matthew before ripping him back to his device.
I pray that my brother find peace and no longer suffer. I pray matthew is with Katie reunited once again, to share the eternal love the two had for one another like no other. I pray my mother can sleep once again without worry. I pray that Matthew’s story will save the life of another person who suffers from addiction.
please share! Even if just his story to save the next life. His so called friends left my brother there to die, do not leave someone stay and always have narcan so we can save another mothers child from this awful disease.
