Matthew Riley "a child taken to soon. "
Donation protected
There comes a time in your life when unfortunate events will happen. This happens to be that exact situation for my parents. My name is Chris Riley, the older brother of Matthew Riley, age 36, who had an unfortunate motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon while traveling on Interstate 81. He loved to ride that bike no matter how much his mother didn't want him to. He would work on it himself to save a buck. He was strong-minded and had the biggest heart. He was a great friend to a lot of people. He would always be the first one to go with me to help any of our neighbors or friends growing up. If he could, he would is the best way to describe him in my opinion.
So as a family, we have decided Matthew will be an organ donor. He will have a chance to save lives. Hopefully, saving other families from not having to go through what we are being forced to face. Asking for help is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but I know it would save my parents a lot of hardship and pain from not being able to give Matthew the final goodbye. My parents would never ask for anything. They would just go without, and the ones who know my parents will tell you my father is the first to help anyone without ever asking anything in return, no matter the circumstances. He was a giver, which taught us boys to be givers. This is a time in our life I'm reaching out asking for your help to ease the burden of this terrible time in our family. My parents live on a fixed income, and with the rising prices in today's world, it's hard to just live, let alone bury your child. So please, if you have the opportunity and ability to help me help them, I couldn't thank you enough. If you don't have the means to offer help, saying a prayer to give my parents the strength will be just enough. God bless you. If anyone would have any pictures of my brother they would kindly share let me know she would be blessed and not expecting it. Thank you for taking the time to reading my story.
