Early this morning, we were traveling for a family vacation and Matt suffered a heart attack in our hotel room and did not survive. We need to get him home from Georgia and figure out our next steps. If you had the pleasure of meeting Matt, you would know the light that he carried in his soul. He loved life and had a kind, giving heart. He loved his family and I was blessed to be his wife for 22 years. Our lives will not be the same without him. He was an amazing person, husband and most of all, a great dad to our two boys.
