Matt started his railway career with OnTrak as a dispatcher at Brighton Station. He was taken on by Southern and after a number of years obtained a post as a Shunter in Lovers Walk.

One evening he had an accident which hospitalised him in a severe way for several months and has now sadly passed away.

He leaves behind his wife Jo and son Miles who I know will be struggling at this terrible time. Please fund what you can to help them through.

His service will be held at Clayton Wood Natural Burial Ground, Brighton Rd, Clayton, Hassocks BN6 9PD at 1130 on Wednesday 3rd December 2025.

Then on to the Boundary Bar at Hove Cricket Ground, Eaton Rd, Brighton and Hove, Hove BN3 3AN for Matthew's Celebration of Life.
