Hello, my name is Kaya and I am the mother of Matt's son Owen. Matt was badly injured last night while riding his Harley alone when he collided with a full size SUV. Matt's injuries are going to most definitely going to impair his ability to work. Matt is proficient with landscaping and irrigation and has made a career out of it. This accident has caused injuries to his left le, his pelvis, his shoulder and his entire left hand is broken. He will need surgery on his leg and his shoulder. His spirit is in strong condition, but we are unsure of how long the healing process will take. Matt is an amazing father,and with Owens second birthday around the corner, the thought of matt missing out on precious time with him is heart breaking. Owen is too young to visit his daddy in the hospital per the hospitals policies. I know that matt is happiest after a long day at work getting to spend quality time with his son, or on his motorcycle. More will be revealed.
