Matthew Miles post transplant and recovery needs

Hi, my name is Mary Kurzhals and I am raising money for my son-in-law Matthew Miles. After many years of battling an auto-immune disease that irreparably damaged his liver. Matthews's own liver was doing more damage than good. His health started failing rapidly and he was placed on the transplant list. On the morning of February 19, 2023, the donor's liver was found to be viable and Matthew was to start the fight of his life. Our thoughts and prayers to the family that lost a cherished member of their family and were gracious enough to save this husband and father. Matthew has been in and out of the hospital continuously since the surgery with many complications. The malnourishment is taking its toll on his body and a feeding tube had to be placed in order to assist him in regaining strength and health. The post-surgery expenses are extensive and the feeding tube nourishment has a shortage causing higher than normal pricing.

Having difficulty eating and drinking is making it so the feeding tube is the only real nutrition his body is getting. Matt is fighting to get better and be able to return to work. His wife Caitlin is doing her best to hold down everything at home. If you're a prayer kind of person, please pray. If you're more of a positive thinker and wishing good juju, please do so.
